Homeschool on the Homestead #4 – Christmas Eve Barn Walk & Light

December 24, 2025|Homeschooling

Howdy from the Candlelit Barn, Farm Mamas. It’s 18°F, the stars are blazing, and Khloé’s in her pink barn coat carrying a lantern down the aisle, whispering to Misty, “The Light of the world is here.”

That’s how we homeschool in December — boots on, hearts open, barn glowing with the true Light.

This week’s theme: Light in the Darkness Barn Walk — lanterns, treats for the animals, reading the real story, and celebrating the Savior who stepped into our world (whenever the calendar says He did).

 Location: Barn, kitchen, living room

Weekly Wrap-Up

This week Khloé carried real light to every animal, heard the true account straight from Luke, tasted shepherd food, and quietly noticed the Bible’s own clues about fields and lambs—without pressure, just wonder. We celebrated the Light of the world who stepped into darkness, no matter what month the calendar claims.
