Bird Watching & Matthew 6:26 – YAH Feeds the Birds

January 12, 2026|Farm Life, Homeschooling

Happy February from Lange Girl Farms! Winter bird watching is one of our favorite homeschool activities right now. From the kitchen window or short outdoor walks, we’re spotting chickadees, woodpeckers, nuthatches, and even wild turkey flocks on the land. This week, we’re tying it to Matthew 6:26—“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” It’s a beautiful reminder of YAH’s care. Come see how bird watching is sparking science, math, and faith lessons this week. For labeling feeders or journals, our Custom Slate Plant Marker adapts perfectly!
