Indoor Herb Tasting & Psalm 51:10 – A Renewed Heart

January 26, 2026|Gardening, Homeschooling, Homesteading

Happy January from Lange Girl Farms! As we cozy up indoors during these Southeast Michigan winter days, indoor herb tasting has become a delightful homeschool activity. Snipping fresh leaves from our windowsill pots and exploring their flavors is a sensory way to connect with YAH’s creation. This week, we’re tying it to Psalm 51:10—“Create in me a clean heart, O YAH, and renew a right spirit within me”—seeing how herbs refresh the body while YAH renews the heart. Come see our daily rhythm for herb tasting lessons. For labeling pots, our Custom Slate Herb Markers keep things organized!
