 Cowboy butter is a flavored compound butter originating from steakhouse traditions—loaded with garlic, herbs, and a kick of spice. Our version is homestead-twisted: using dried herbs we grew and harvested, plus a touch of honey from local bees for balance. It’s zero-waste (use herb stems in stock!) and adds gourmet flair to simple farm meals.

The Base Cowboy Butter 2.0 Recipe
 This makes about 1 cup—enough for several meals.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (farm-fresh if possible).
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, minced (or 2 tsp garlic powder for milder).
