Howdy from the homestead! We’re thrilled you’re bringing a piece of Lange Girl Farms into your home. Here’s everything you need to know about how we get your handmade goods (salves, magnesium balms, alpaca-felted soaps, slate markers, garden tools, and more) from our Tecumseh, Michigan homestead to you.
Processing Time
• Orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding US holidays).
• If your order comes in after 5 PM EST or on a weekend/holiday, it starts processing the next business day.
• We handcraft and pack everything fresh, so during busy seasons (like spring planting or holiday gifting), it might lean toward the 5-day side — thanks for your patience!
Shipping Methods & Carriers
• We ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) — reliable, affordable, and great for our small-batch packages.
• Most orders use USPS First Class (for lighter items) or Priority Mail (for faster delivery or heavier boxes).
• Tracking is included on Priority Mail and most packages over a certain weight — you’ll get the tracking number via email once shipped.
• We currently ship to US addresses only (including Alaska/Hawaii). International? Not yet, but drop us a line if you’re interested — we might expand!
Shipping Costs
• Calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and destination (real-time USPS rates via WooCommerce).
• We aim to keep it fair — no hidden fees.
• Free shipping on orders over $75 within the continental US
Delivery Estimates
• Once shipped:
• Continental US: 2–7 business days (USPS estimates).
• Alaska/Hawaii: 4–10 business days.
• These are carrier estimates — weather, holidays, or high volume can cause delays outside our control. We’re not responsible for carrier delays, but we’ll help track and resolve issues.
Important Notes
• Address accuracy is on you — double-check at checkout! We can’t change addresses after shipping.
• Perishable or temperature-sensitive items (if we add any like fresh eggs/honey): We pack with care, but can’t guarantee condition in extreme heat/cold.
• Lost or damaged packages: Report within 7 days of estimated delivery — we’ll work with USPS for claims (photo proof helps).
