Refunds & Returns Policy

At Lange Girl Farms, we handcraft every item with care right here on our Tecumseh, Michigan homestead – from foraged-herb salves and magnesium balms to alpaca-felted soaps and durable garden slate markers. We want you to love what you receive, but because many of our products are natural, handmade, and personal-care focused, we have a few guidelines to keep things fair for everyone.
What Can Be Returned or Refunded?
• Non-perishable, unused items (e.g., unopened garden tools, slate markers, unopened gift sets without perishable elements): Eligible for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Defective or damaged items (e.g., arrived broken, wrong item sent): We’ll make it right – refund, replacement, or exchange, no questions asked if reported within 7 days of receipt.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method (or store credit if preferred – we love helping you shop more homestead goodies!).
What Can’t Be Returned (No Refunds or Exchanges)?
Due to hygiene, safety, and the handmade/perishable nature of our goods:
• Opened or used personal care products (salves, balms, magnesium rubs, felted soaps, etc.) – these touch skin and can’t be resold.
• Perishable or farm-fresh items (e.g., eggs, honey, seasonal produce if we ever add them) – once shipped, they’re final sale.
• Custom or personalized items (e.g., any engraved slate markers or made-to-order felted goods).
• Items marked “final sale” or on clearance.
How to Start a Return or Request Help
1. Email us at [langegirlfarms@gmail.com] within the eligible window. Include your order number, photos of the issue (for damaged/defective), and what you’d like (refund, exchange, store credit).
2. We’ll reply quickly with next steps – usually a return address and any label if needed.
3. Ship the item back in original packaging/condition (unused, with tags if applicable). You cover return shipping unless it’s our error (damaged/wrong item – we’ll reimburse or send a prepaid label).
4. Once we receive and inspect (usually 3–5 business days), we’ll process your refund/exchange within another 3–5 business days. Refunds to card can take 5–10 days to show up depending on your bank.

• We’re a small homestead operation, so we appreciate your understanding on shipping timelines and handmade variations (no two felted soaps are identical!).
• If something arrives damaged due to shipping, snap photos right away – we’ll work with the carrier if needed.
